Prove it

A button means you can actually do it

Buttons aren't for time spent. Some tests are a number you measure: log your personal best, and the site shows when you've hit an approved standard. Others are about doing a skill properly, so there's no number. You show Glen or Jeff, and they award the button.

Train
Work on the skill. As much or as little as you like.
Prove it
Show you can do it, or complete a measured test.
Personal best
Your best measured result, saved on this device.
Standard hit
You met an approved benchmark, like Engine under 10:00.
Button
A real GameSmarts achievement. Glen or Jeff award it.

How each test is checked

Show Glen or Jeff
You show them in person. For skills like Ball Boss there's no number to log.
Timed by anyone
A parent, teammate, sibling, Glen or Jeff times or measures it, and you log the result yourself.
Caught doing it
Glen spots it in game or practice video and awards it from the clip.
Recognize it
SEE IT puzzles train your eyes. They help you learn, but they don't earn a button on their own.

Coaches can tell Glen or Jeff when they see something — that's a nudge to check, not an award.

Skill tests

Standalone tests that aren't part of a pathway.

Coming later: Weak Foot, and Shooting Star standards.
