Flick Up

Coach cues
- Roll it onto your toe first
- Flick, don't kick
- Catch it or control it, don't chase it
Try for
10 clean flick-ups in a row.
Why this skill?
Getting the ball off the ground onto your foot, cleanly, every time.
Foot Stall

Coach cues
- Soft foot, let the ball sink in
- Hold it a full second before moving on
- Both feet, not just your strong one
Try for
Stall and hold for 2 full seconds, 5 times in a row.
Why this skill?
Cushioning the ball dead still on top of your foot — the stop between touches.
One Touch Catch

Coach cues
- Toes up, ankle locked
- Knee height, not higher
- Catch it clean, don't let it bounce
Try for
5 clean one-touch-and-catch reps in a row.
Why this skill?
One juggle, then catching it — building the height and control you need before stringing touches together.
Two Touch Alternating Catch

Coach cues
- Alternate feet every touch
- Keep it at knee height
- Catch before it drops, don't chase it down
Try for
5 clean two-touch-alternating reps in a row.
Why this skill?
Two juggles, alternating feet, before catching — the bridge to a real string of keep-ups.
All Together

Coach cues
- Count out loud
- Start again from one whenever it drops
- Relax — tense legs kick it away
Try for
10 juggles in a row, no catching.
Why this skill?
Stringing everything together into a real string of keep-ups, no catching.
