Wall Warrior
Passing off the wall, both feet, inside and laces.
About Wall Warrior
A wall never gets tired. Eight drills building wall passing, first touch, rhythm, and both-foot control — inside of the foot and laces, one touch and two touch. Train them at your own pace, then show Glen or Jeff.

Inside Two-Touch Passing

Coach cues
- Set touch away from your body
- Strike with the inside of the foot
- Both feet, don't favour one
Try for
10 clean two-touch passes in a row, each foot.
Why this skill?
A clean first touch to set the ball, then a clean pass — the base every other wall drill builds on.
Inside One-Touch Passing

Coach cues
- Meet the ball early, don't wait
- Inside of the foot, firm not soft
- Stay light on your feet between passes
Try for
10 clean one-touch passes in a row, each foot.
Why this skill?
Passing it straight back off the wall in one touch — no setting it first.
Inside One-Touch Alternating Passing

Coach cues
- Alternate every single touch
- Keep your hips open to the wall
- Find a rhythm before you speed up
Try for
10 clean alternating one-touch passes in a row.
Why this skill?
The same one-touch pass, alternating feet every time.
Inside Two-Touch Alternating Passing

Coach cues
- Set with one foot, pass with the other
- Switch every rep
- Keep the set touch small
Try for
10 clean alternating two-touch passes in a row.
Why this skill?
Set touch, then pass, alternating which foot does each job.
Laces Two-Touch Passing

Coach cues
- Point your toe down, lock the ankle
- Strike through the middle of the ball
- Set it far enough to swing through it
Try for
10 clean two-touch laces passes in a row, each foot.
Why this skill?
The same set-and-pass, now with the laces instead of the inside of the foot.
Laces One-Touch Passing

Coach cues
- Meet the ball early
- Ankle locked through contact
- Stay balanced on your plant foot
Try for
10 clean one-touch laces passes in a row, each foot.
Why this skill?
One-touch passing with the laces — faster, harder to control than the inside of the foot.
Laces One-Touch Alternating Passing

Coach cues
- Alternate every touch, no favourites
- Small hops to stay ready
- Slow it down if you're losing control
Try for
10 clean alternating one-touch laces passes in a row.
Why this skill?
Alternating feet on the one-touch laces pass — the hardest combination in the ladder.
Passing Challenge

Coach cues
- Mix surfaces and feet like the test will ask
- Count out loud as you go
- Miss a pass, keep going — don't reset
Try for
One minute of one-touch passes, each foot. Count them for yourself and try to beat it next time.
Why this skill?
Putting all seven drills together under time pressure — mixing feet and surfaces without losing rhythm.
Prove it
No numbers here. When you can do it properly, show Glen or Jeff — they award the button.
Wall Warrior
Wall Warrior I
Demonstrate controlled wall-work technique to Glen or Jeff: clean passes off the wall with both feet (inside and laces), a controlled first touch on the return, and switching feet without breaking rhythm. They watch and award the button — it isn't a number.
